เปิดเทอมวันแรก สามเพื่อนซี้ “ละไม” “กระแต” และ “ดิน” ได้รู้จักเพื่อนใหม่ “อาศา” เป็นเด็กฝรั่งผิวขาว จมูกโด่ง ผมสีน้ำตาล ที่พูดไทยชัดถ้อยชัดคำอย่างไม่น่าเชื่อ แต่เรื่องน่าแปลกใจของเพื่อนใหม่ไม่ได้มีเพียงเท่านี้ ละไมสังเกตว่าอาศาไม่ค่อยพูดคุยเล่นหัวกับเพื่อนร่วมชั้น แต่ชอบไปนั่งเล่นตามใต้ต้นไม้และทำท่าแปลก ๆ เหมือนพูดคุยกับต้นไม้ได้ โดยเฉพาะต้นตะแบกหลังโรงเรียน ความช่างสังเกตนี้เองทำให้เธอค้นพบความลับอันยิ่งใหญ่ของอาศา ที่จะช่วยให้เด็ก ๆ เรียนรู้วิธีต่อสู้กับภัยต้นไม้อย่างภาวะโลกร้อนด้วยสองมือเล็ก ๆ ของพวกเขาเอง
On the first day of the semester, three best friends “Lamai,” “Kratae” and “Din”, met new friends. “Asa” was a white, tall-nosed, brown-haired foreigner who spoke Thai clearly and unbelievably. But the surprise of a new friend is not just this. Lamai noticed that Asa rarely flirted with her classmates. She likes to sit under trees and do strange gestures like talking to trees, especially the Tabaek tree behind the school. This observance led her to discover the great secret of Asa. To help children learn how to fight tree hazards like global warming with their own little hands.

หลังจบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีสาขาภาษาอังกฤษ จากคณะโบราณคดี มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร ก็เริ่มต้นงานแรกด้วยการเป็นนักข่าวหนังสือพิมพ์ แต่เพราะหลงใหลในวรรณกรรมไทยและวรรณกรรมต่างประเทศจึงเข้าเรียนต่อปริญญาโทสาขาวรรณคดีเปรียบเทียบ คณะอักษรศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย และกลับมาทํางานเป็นพนักงานแปลข่าวต่างประเทศของสถานีโทรทัศน์แห่งหนึ่งเกือบสามปี ก่อนจะลาออกมาทํางานเป็นนักแปลอิสระเต็มตัว โดยมีผลงานแปลหลากหลายแนวทั้งสารคดีและบันเทิงคดี
คติประจําใจคือ จงทําตัวเป็นน้ำครึ่งแก้วอยู่เสมอ เพื่อพร้อมจะเรียนรู้สิ่งใหม่ๆ ความรู้ใหม่ๆตลอดเวลา เพราะหากคิดว่าเราเป็นน้ำเต็มแก้วแล้ว เราอาจปิดกั้นตัวเอง ไม่ยอมรับประสบการณ์ใหม่ๆที่เข้ามาในชีวิต
After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the Faculty of Archeology Silpakorn University, he started his first job as a newspaper reporter But because of his passion for Thai and foreign literature, he enrolled in a master’s degree in Comparative Literature. Faculty of Arts Chulalongkorn University. He returned to work as a translator for foreign news for a television station for almost three years, before resigning to work as a freelance translator. There are translation works in various genres, both documentary and fiction.
The motto is always to be half a glass of water. To be ready to learn new things, new knowledge all the time. Because if you think that we are already full of water We may block ourselves. Do not accept new experiences that come into your life.
