เป็นชาว อ.บ้านผือ จ.อุดรธานี จบชั้นมัธยมศึกษาจากโรงเรียนบ้านผือพิทยาสรรค์ จบปริญญาตรีครุศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาศิลปศึกษา จากวิทยาลัยครูอุดรธานี ปัจจุบันรับราชการเป็นครูสอนศิลปะที่โรงเรียนเตรียมอุดมศึกษาพัฒนาการที่ จ.อุดรธานีบ้านเกิด และยังคงสร้างสรรค์งานศิลปะ งานวรรณกรรมควบคู่กับการสอนหนังสือ
