นิทานเรื่อง “ฝ้ายเก็บออม” เป็นเรื่องราวของเด็กหญิงฝ้ายที่มีของเล่นมากมาย แต่เมื่อเห็นเพื่อนมีของเล่นใหม่ก็อยากได้บ้าง คุณพ่อคุณแม่จึงสอนให้ฝ้ายรู้จักประหยัดด้วยการเล่นของเล่นที่มีอยู่ หากชำรุดก็ซ่อมแซม ทำให้ฝ้ายเรียนรู้การใช้สิ่งต่าง ๆ อย่างคุ้มค่า ไม่ซื้อของที่ฟุ่มเฟือย และยังสอนให้ฝ้ายเก็บออมเงินไว้ใช้ในวันหน้าด้วย

“Fye Saves Money” is about a girl named Fye who owns a lot of playthings. However, she still wants to have more new ones whenever her friends have new toys. Her parents see that and begin to teach her how to save money. Fye is taught to be satisfied with the toys she already has and to know how to repair damaged toys to be used again. The lesson opens her mind to appreciate the values of things and does not spend money wastefully. In the end, she will save money for the future as well.
This book has beautiful and colorful illustrations. The bookbinding is durable with laminated pages, cover to cover. It is suitable for kids three years old and up.
