“อีเล้งเค้งโค้งจับแมลง” เป็นภาคต่อของ “อีเล้งเค้งโค้ง” และ “อีเล้งเค้งโค้งอยากไปอยุธยา” ของอาจารย์ชีวัน วิสาสะ นักเขียนเรื่องสำหรับเด็กมือหนึ่งของเมืองไทย “อีเล้งเค้งโค้ง” ภาคใหม่นี้นอกจากจะเน้นความสนุกสนานจากการเล่าเรื่องด้วยคำคล้องจองเป็นจังหวะจะโคนให้เด็กจดจำได้ง่ายแล้ว ยังสอดแทรกเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับ “แมลง” ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งมีชีวิตเล็กๆ ใกล้ตัวที่เด็กๆ แทบทุกคนให้ความสนใจ พร้อมทั้งแฝงแง่คิดดีๆ ในการอยู่ร่วมกับสิ่งมีชีวิตอื่นๆ อีกด้วย
ดังนั้น “อีเล้งเค้งโค้งจับแมลง” จึงไม่ใช่แค่หนังสือภาพสำหรับเด็กแสนสนุกเพียงอย่างเดียว ทว่ายังเป็นหนังสือภาพเสริมความรู้ ให้เด็กๆ ได้เริ่มศึกษาเกี่ยวกับสิ่งรอบตัวที่มีประโยชน์ อันจะเป็นพื้นฐานที่ดีในการเรียนรู้สิ่งต่างๆ ในโลกอันกว้างใหญ่ต่อไป
“E-leng Keng Kong: Bug Hunt” is a sequel to Cheewan Wisasa’s well-known Thai children’s book ” E-leng Keng Kong: Visiting Ayutthaya.” This new version not only entertains children with pleasant rhymes and rhythms that help young readers remember, but it also teaches them about insects, tiny creatures, and other species in the environment that they will be fascinated in and how to live in peace with one another. As a result, ” E-leng Keng Kong: Bug Hunt ” is more than a fun children’s picture book. It also helps youngsters develop their knowledge of and interest in learning about helpful things around them, which will serve as an excellent foundation for learning in this big world.

ชีวัน วิสาสะ หรือ ‘ครูชีวัน’ นักเขียน-นักวาดภาพประกอบนิทานเด็ก ที่มีผลงานเป็นที่ยอมรับมาอย่างยาวนาน ผลงานที่โดดเด่น อาทิ ‘น้องส้มโอกับพี่หลอดไฟ’ ‘อีเล้งเค้งโค้ง’ ไปจนถึง ‘มดสิบตัว’ ที่เคยได้รับการแปลเป็นภาษาต่างประเทศมาแล้ว นอกจากนี้ครูชีวันเคยทำงานด้านสื่อสำหรับเด็กมามากมาย เช่นการเขียนบทโทรทัศน์รายการ สโมสรผึ้งน้อย รายการเห็ดหรรษา ละครสีสันวรรณกรรม แต่งเพลงสำหรับเด็ก ทำค่ายเด็ก ไปจนถึงเป็นที่ปรึกษา กึ่งบรรณาธิการและกึ่งนักเขียนให้กับสำนักพิมพ์ และเป็นชาวไทยคนแรกและคนเดียวที่ได้รับเชิญไปร่วมเสวนาในงานสัปดาห์หนังสือเด็กนานาชาติ ประเทศสวีเดน ถึง 2 ครั้ง
Cheewan Wisasa, often known as “Kru Cheewan,” is a children’s book author and artist. Nong Som and Pi Lord Fai O, E-Leng Keng Kong, and 10 Ants are among his best-known works, which have been translated into various languages. He also worked in the children’s media industry, creating screenplays for TV series such as “Sa Mo Sorn Pueng Noi,” “Hed Hunsa,” and “Seesan Wannagum Series.” He also wrote children’s songs, organized a children’s camp, and worked as a semi-editor and semi-writer consultant for a publisher. He is the first and only Thai author to participate in discussions at the International Children’s Book Fair in Sweden on two occasions.
