มากินข้าวด้วยกันนะ อยากให้เด็กๆ มีความสุข และรู้สึกสนุกกับการกิน เพราะเรื่องกินสำหรับเด็กเล็ก เป็นเรื่องที่ผู้ใหญ่หลายคนมักจะหนักใจเมื่อลูกสัตว์ชักชวนให้เพื่อนร่วมกินอาหารด้วย หมายถึงการแบ่งปัน มีนํ้าใจเอื้อเฟื้อ และได้เรียนรู้เล็กๆ ว่าสัตว์แต่ละตัวชอบกินอาหารชนิดใด หนังสือภาพ ช่วยให้เด็กได้ซึมซับศิลปะ เพราะศิลปะจะช่วยกล่อมเกลาให้เติบโต เป็นผู้ใหญ่ที่มีจิตใจอ่อนโยน จึงวาดโดยมีพื้นที่ขาวโล่ง สะอาดตา ไม่มีฉากหลังที่รกรุงรัง ใช้ภาพน้อย คำน้อย เพราะเด็กเล็กมีคลังคำศัพท์อยู่น้อย ประสบการณ์ยังน้อย เด็กเล็กจะอ่านหนังสือด้วยภาพ พร้อมกับจินตนาการจากเสียงที่ผู้ใหญ่อ่านให้ฟัง จึงไม่ต้องการให้มารบกวนจินตนาการในเรื่องภาพมากนัก เมื่อเด็กหลายคนได้อ่านหนังสือเล่มนี้ พอถึงภาพที่ตัวละครนั่งกินอาหารร่วมกันกับเพื่อนๆ เขาจะหยิบอาหารแต่ละชนิดของทุกตัวเข้าปาก ทำท่าเคี้ยว และจินตนาการว่า ได้ลองชิมอาหารของเพื่อนจริงๆ แล้วพูดออกมาว่า “อร่อยจังเลย” อยากให้หนังสือภาพ “มากินข้าวด้วยกันนะ” เล่มนี้ สร้างความเพลิดเพลิน ทั้งเด็กและผู้ใหญ่ ได้กินข้าวร่วมกันอย่างมีความสุข รวมงานนิทานภาพประกอบงาม เนื้อเรื่องดีการันตีคุณภาพด้วยรางวัล
“Let’s Eat Together.” With the desire for the children to be happy and enjoy their meals, eating for young children is something many adults tend to worry about. When baby animals invite a friend to join them for a meal, it symbolizes sharing and generosity, and the children will also discover what type of food each animal prefers. This picture book invites youngsters to immerse themselves in art, which helps them grow into peaceful people. Because young children have a limited vocabulary due to a shortage of experiences, this storybook is painted with a clear, white space without a cluttered background, utilizing a few images and phrases. Young children will imagine the sounds when adults read the books aloud by looking at pictures. As a result, the author does not want the images to overburden the children’s imaginations. When children read this book and saw the photos of the characters dining with their friends, they put every sort of imaginary food into their mouths, performed a chewing motion, and thought that they had indeed eaten their friend’s meal and murmured, “so good.” The author hopes that “Let’s Eat Together,” a picture book, will provide delight to both kids and their parents and that they will share a nice meal.
