The forebears’ legends may not entirely deceive the descendants. At the very least, the Ancient City of Kubua, Authong Nakornchaisri, or Subjumpa in the Dvaravati period, indicates that these places had a South Asian civilization around a thousand years ago. As a result, the cultural difference between South Asia and ASEAN is similar. We have found, are discovering, and will continue to discover internal and regional relations. องค์ บรรจุน เป็นนักเขียนไทยเชื้อสายมอญ มีผลงานเขียนในแนวสารคดีมาก่อนนับแต่ เรื่องต้นทางจากมะละแหม่ง ในปี 2549 เป็นต้นมา เขามีผลงานมาแล้วหลายเล่ม ซึ่งเป็นงานสารคดีหรือไม่ก็งานในเชิงวิชาการ จึงต่างกับเล่มนี้ที่เป็นวรรณกรรม เป็นเรื่องสั้น มีด้วยกัน 13 เรี่อง เรื่อง “บังไพรแห่งซับจำปา” เป็นหนึ่งเรื่องในเล่มที่นำมาเป็ฯชื่อปก ส่วนเรื่องการตีพิมพ์ครั้งแรกตามหน้านิตยสารต่างๆ บางเรื่องได้รับรางวัล ขณะเดียวกันก็มีอยู่ 5 เรื่องที่องค์ บรรจุน เขียนขึ้นใหม่ลงตีพิมพ์ครั้งแรกที่นี่ โดยสำนักพิมพ์หวังว่าผู้อ่านจะได้ทั้งความบันเทิงและสาระตามสมควร
Ong Bunjoon is a Thai-Mon author. Since ‘Ton Tang Jak Moulmein’ in 2006, he has done documentary work. He has several documentary or academic works, which differ from this novel. There are 13 stories in all. “The Camouflage of Subjumpa,” the author’s title for one of the stories in this book. His first publications, some of which were awarded, were published in magazines. At the same time, Ong Bunjoon wrote and published five stories for the first time here. Preaw Publishing believed that readers would enjoy it and learn from it. Preaw Publishing hoped that readers would get enjoyment and also benefit.
