ดังนั้นคุณพ่อคุณแม่จะช่วยลูกได้โดยบอกให้เขารู้ว่าเขาจะต้องเจออะไรบ้างเพื่อลดความกังวล พยายามปรับตารางกิจกรรมในแต่ละวันให้ใกล้เคียงกับช่วงไปโรงเรียน เช่น เวลาตื่น เวลานอนกลางวัน ที่สำคัญลองพาลูกไปทำความรู้จักคุณครูใหม่ เพื่อนใหม่บ่อยๆ เด็กๆ ก็จะลดความกังวลและใช้เวลาปรับตัวน้อยลง พร้อมทั้งสนุกกับการเรียนในโรงเรียนได้อย่างเต็มที่

Most children have a school refusal when they have to be at the beginning of the new semester, be transferred to a new school, or be moved up to a higher class because they are transitioning from what they were used to something new. For example, they used to play with their friends, but now they have to play with someone they don’t know.
Parents can help their children by telling them what they’re about to go through to reduce their anxiety and by adjusting their daily activity schedule to be the same as the school day, such as wake-up time, bedtime, and nap time during the day. Importantly, try to take your children to meet the new teacher and make new friends more often. Then the children will be less anxious, and it will take less time for them to adjust and enjoy studying in school to the fullest.
