งานบ้านเป็นการเรียนรู้ด้วยการลงมือทำ มีอุปสรรคและความท้าทาย จึงกระตุ้นให้เด็กได้คิด วางแผน และปฏิบัติ จนทำงานบ้านสำเร็จ เด็กที่ฝึกทำงานบ้านตั้งแต่เล็ก จะเปิดโอกาสให้ได้พัฒนาทักษะสมอง EF (Executive Funtions) ทั้ง 9 ด้าน คือ จำเพื่อใช้งาน ยืดหยุ่นความคิด ยั้งคิดไตร่ตรอง ริเริ่มลงมือทำ วางแผนดำเนินการ มุ่งเป้าหมาย จดจ่อใส่ใจ ควบคุมอารมณ์ และติดตามประเมินตนเอง

เมื่อเด็กทำงานบ้านที่เหมาะสมตามวัย พัฒนาการด้านต่าง ๆ ก็พัฒนาขึ้นรอบด้าน
• ร่างกาย : ขยับร่างกายและได้ออกแรงพัฒนากล้ามเนื้อใหญ่และเล็ก เสริมสร้างความคล่องแคล่วและแข็งแรง ฝึกประสานสัมพันธ์มือกับตา
• สติปัญญา : ฝึกความจำ รู้คำศัพท์ใหม่ ๆ ช่างสังเกต เปรียบเทียบ คิดวางแผนการทำงานเป็นขั้นตอน แก้ไขปัญหาได้ มีใจจดจ่อ
• อารมณ์ จิตใจ : ควบคุมอารมณ์และแสดงออกอย่างเหมาะสม เกิดความมั่นใจ และเห็นคุณค่าของตนเอง
• สังคม : มีวินัยและความรับผิดชอบ พึ่งพาตนเองได้ รู้จักปรับตัวและทำงานร่วมกับผู้อื่น มีจิตอาสาช่วยเหลือ

Pui, Ping, and Pun helped the Mother Rabbit collect the dried clothing and pile them up like a mountain. Household chores are learned by doing.
Some obstacles and challenges encourage the children to think, plan and practice until they complete the household chores. Children who have done housework since childhood will have opportunities to develop brain skills EF (Executive Functions) in all nine areas: working memory, flexible thinking, inhibitory control, starting tasks, planning, goal-oriented, paying attention, emotion control, and self-monitoring.

When children do age-appropriate housework, their development in various areas is improved.
• Body: Move and exert themselves to build large and small muscles, improve maneuverability and strength, and practice hand-eye coordination.
• Intelligence: Memory training, learning new words, being observant, comparing, step-by-step planning, solving problems, staying focused.
• Emotions and Mind: Learn to control and express emotions appropriately and gain confidence and recognize one’s worth.
• Society: self-discipline and responsibility, self-reliance, the ability to adapt and collaborate with others, and the willingness to help others.
