เด็กควรเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับการใช้ภาษาเพื่อสื่อความหมายในชีวิตประจำวัน ความรู้พื้นฐานเกี่ยวกับการใช้หนังสือและตัวหนังสือ รู้จักชื่อ ลักษณะ สี ผิวสัมผัส ขนาด รูปทรง ปริมาตร น้ำหนัก จำนวน ส่วนประกอบ การเปลี่ยนแปลงและความสัมพันธ์ของสิ่งต่าง ๆ รอบตัว เวลา เงิน ประโยชน์ การใช้งาน และการเลือกใช้สิ่งของเครื่องใช้ ยานพาหนะ การคมนาคม เทคโนโลยี และการสื่อสารต่าง ๆ ที่ใช้อยู่ในชีวิตประจำวัน อย่างประหยัด ปลอดภัย และรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อม

According to the early childhood education curriculum, “Things around the children.”

Basic knowledge of the use of books and letters, recognizing names, characteristics, colors, textures, sizes, shapes, volumes, weights, counts, components, changes and relationships of things around them, time, money, benefits, uses, and selection of appliances, vehicles, transportation, technologies, and communications are used in daily life in an economical, safe and environmentally friendly manner.
